REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS:
1. As per Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Unıversıty regulations governıng International Applications to Graduate Programs, to qualify as an international student, applicants should NOT meet any of the conditions below:
a) Subjects of Republic of Turkey (with exception of those who completed last three years of their high school education in a foreign country other than Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus(TRNC))
b) Subjects of TRNC (except for those who completed their whole secondary education at TRNC high schools yet have a GCE AL result),
c) Dual citizens with a Turkish citizenship (with exception of those who completed last three years of their high school education in a foreign country other than TRNC),
d) Dual citizens with a TRNC citizenship (except for those who completed their whole secondary education at TRNC high schools yet have a GCE AL result),
e) Those who are subjects of Turkey yet completed their high school education in TRNC.
2. Applicants can apply M.Sc. degree programs with their bachelor degrees, Ph.D. degree programs with their bachelor or M.Sc. degrees.
3. Applicants should not have undergone any disciplinary action during their undergraduate or graduate education in the Republic of Turkey prior to their applications.
4. Applicants should meet the minimum language requirements to continue the programs.
a) For graduate programs, to demonstrate proficiency in English, applicants should meet one of the following conditions:
§ Applicant’s country of origin where official language is English
§ Applicant have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in an institute where language of education is English
§ Applicant have passed one of the English proficiency exams with a minimum score as listed below or equivalent exams recognized by ÖSYM( See http://dokuman.osym.gov.tr/pdfdokuman/2014/Genel/Esdegerlik18072014.pdf)

b) For graduate programs in Turkish, to demonstrate proficiency in Turkish, applicants should meet one of the following conditions:
§ Applicant have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in an institute where language of education is Turkish
§ Applicant have submitted a B2 level’s certificate (or above) from “Türkçe Öğretim Merkezleri” (TÖMER)”
§ Applicant have passed the MÜDS(Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University language proficiency exam) for Turkish with a minimum score of 60
Those students who are accepted to M.Sc. degree programs but could not fulfill minimum language requirements can attend language preparatory programs in School of Foreign Languages at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
1. Register to the Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University International Student Application Portal. Applicants will need an email for the registration.
2. Fill out necessary forms and upload following documents along with the forms:
a) Copy of Diploma (undergraduate degree diploma for M.Sc. programs; undergraduate degree and, if available graduate degree. diplomas for Ph.D. programs).
b) Copy of the official transcript(undergraduate/masters transcript)
c) Copy of the Identification Document (Photocopy of passport identity page)
d) One passport photo
e) Curriculum Vitae
f) Letters of Recommendation (at least one)
g) Letter of Intent
h) (If required by the program) Proofs of proficiency in English; e.g. the results of YDS (for details see REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS section)
i) (If required by the program) Proofs of proficiency in Turkish; e.g. Türkçe Öğretim Merkezleri (TÖMER) B2-level certificate (for details see REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS section)

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION:
Once accepted, the prospective students will need to bring following documents for registration:
1. Original Diplomas (undergraduate degree diploma for M.Sc. programs; undergraduate degree and, if available graduate degree. diplomas for Ph.D. programs).
2. Official transcripts sealed and signed (undergraduate degree and, if available, graduate degree transcripts)
3. (If required by the program) Original documents for English proficiency; e.g. the results of YDS (for details see REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS section)
4. (If required by the program) Original documents for Turkish proficiency; e.g. TÖMER B2-level certificate (for details see REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS section)
5. Unless applicant’s country of origin is exempt from visa (see http://www.mfa.gov.tr/visa-information-for-foreigners.en.mfa), a “Student Visa” obtained from Turkish Embassies or Consulates at country of origin
6. Copy of the Passport
7. Residence Permit (see http://www.egm.gov.tr/EN/Pages/Residence-Permit-Procedures.aspx)
8. Four passport photos
9. Proof of tuition payment or scholarship documents
